Tokyo born and raised, Keiichiro began his training in hair at the age of 16. Keiichiro’s dream was to become a globally renowned hair stylist.
Having established himself in Japan as a session hairstylist Keiichiro ambition’s brought him to London. Only here would he be exposed to the new creative challenges and opportunities required to fulfil his dream.
Artistically Keiichiro’s main focus is to combine texture with an edgy elegance. He’s known internationally for his sculptural dynamic forms however, simplicity is at the core of his ethos.
His editorial work has appeared across the globe in many of the finest publications and advertising campaigns. Having extensively travelled, it’s been his privilege to work with some of the worlds most respected photographers.
Case Study
“Liquid Grace” was a hair story inspired by the essential, effortless beauty of water. We captured the full creative process behind the scenes, as K Hair Studio brought this concept to life with fluid movement and minimalist styling.
The story was later published in The Glass Magazine — full credit to them for showcasing this elegant collaboration
